Hey ya’ll. Welcome to the the Rouge-Orleans,  a 100+ mile Ultra-Marathon and Team Relay that starts in the capital city of Baton Rouge and Finishes in Audubon Park in New Orleans. The run coincides with the Mardi Gras carnival season, so runners are not only treated to a great run, but also the most unique after party on the planet. Participants will run on top of the levee for up to 42 hours and follow the mighty Mississippi as it meanders its way 126.2 miles down to New Orleans.  Running alongside plantations, sugarcane fields, swamps, the old haunted Carville Leper Colony, and the river will provide runner’s with an unforgettable  visual tour of the state of Louisiana.
